in our upcoming 10th Connections Café Event.
CSC
Atlantic Chapter has arrived at the conclusion that trade show venues
present a number of difficulties in their objective of bringing
together buyers and sellers of construction products and services.
Construction Specifications Canada has evolved a successful alternative
to the traditional trade show in the form of a more relaxed social
setting in which industry colleagues meet to exchange information
and develop business contacts – The Connections Café.
Essentially,
CSC acts as a facilitator bringing together sponsors who pay a fee
for the privilege of hosting a social evening at a local upscale
venue. The Sponsor receives 11 passes to invite clients from the
Design, Specifier, Contractor, and Government sectors to come together
in a social environment. Hors d'oeuvres and one complimentary refreshment
are part of the admission ticket to be provided to the client by
the sponsor. Additional tickets are available at a charge of $60.00
plus HST each if you wish to invite more than ten guests. Each participating
sponsor will require a ticket for entry.
The
Atlantic Chapter of Construction Specifications Canada would like
to extend this opportunity for your firm to become a sponsor of
this event. In addition to providing an opportunity for sponsors
to meet with their clients, CSC will acknowledge the sponsor with
signage displayed around the venue. The first twenty sponsors to
confirm by September 26 th are being guaranteed an opportunity to
network with design and construction professionals. No tables, no
booths...just meet and greet. Please join us for a very relaxing
evening and social setting overlooking the Halifax Harbour with
industry colleagues and friends. Last October at our 9 th Connections
Café, we attracted 16 industry sponsors and over 100 guests.
The
cost to sponsors is $495.00 plus 13% HST = $559.35. The event will
take place from 5:00pm to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday October 30, 2008
at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel (Old Casino Nova Scotia
Hotel) (Room 44 North) in downtown Halifax. For further information,
